This is the first real shift after SEO.

Most people still optimize for rankings.

AI optimizes for clarity.

If your work isn’t explicitly structured, models like ChatGPT or Perplexity AI won’t cite you, no matter how good it is.

Same thing applies to individuals, not just companies.

If you don’t structure your workflows and outputs clearly, you basically don’t exist in the AI layer.
